help move every one of these sheep!!

Thank you for all your generous support in helping the creation of this educational, community organization!

Annual $8,000 fundraiser!

Excited to commence the 2nd year of fundraising efforts!

We were thrilled to raise $3,970.00 in 2022!

Thank you to everyone who donated last year!!

This annual fundraiser will be a significant portion of the programming budget. In these early stages of creating Howland Farm Museum, funds raised are going towards general start up expenses:

* non-profit set up legal fees

* business road sign

* custom shelving for collections storage

* port-a-potty & musician fee costs

* educational signage

Any donations are NOT tax deductible this year, but will be

in the future.

You can donate in person during open business hours, or by contacting us for the best method suitable to you!

People who happen to provide the donations that move us over milestone increments will receive honorary "Shepherdess" and "Shepherd" awards!

Immensely grateful for your support!!

Why $8,000 Fundraiser Goal??

Augustus Howland purchased Lot 149 and Lot 35, which included this farm, on April 2, 1832.

His father, George Howland, sent him $8,000 towards the total cost of $9,808.70.

Thus, the Annual $8,000 Fundraiser Challenge honors those original wired funds and was created to contribute to our programming and operations budget!!

In future years the season will begin with an April Kick Off Fundraising Party!
